Arolytics Granted Funding from SDTC to Optimize Methane Monitoring

Advancing the Mission to Reduce Energy Sector Emissions

February 17, 2023, Calgary, AB - Arolytics receives 375k in funding from Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC).

Arolytics designs Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) programs that allow companies to reduce their emissions faster and at lower costs. By providing software and expert services, Arolytics is on the front line of emissions reduction efforts, working directly with clients from the energy sector. With this funding from SDTC, Arolytics can access more clients in Canada and globally to reduce methane emissions from the oil and gas industry.

Recent federal regulatory changes in Canada require energy companies to perform higher-frequency monitoring of their emissions. Arolytics’ software solutions can determine optimal technologies and inspection schedules to use to comply with new regulations while managing emissions data in the best way possible for each client. Using the AroFEMP software model, a product designed in-house, Arolytics can model hundreds of scenarios using different technologies and approaches to methane emissions management to outline the most cost-efficient and effective emissions reduction pathways for their clients.

“Methane regulations are changing rapidly across the globe. This SDTC funding will support the automation and scalability of our emissions management platform, enabling us to expand our SaaS business to assist clients globally. When this project is complete, we will be able to optimize the sensor technology our clients use to find emissions, allowing them to reduce their environmental footprint faster than they thought possible.”

~Liz O’Connell, Arolytics President
