How It Works Over 100 methane monitoring technologies exist. Which one best fits your needs?

Combine your regulatory and voluntary emissions commitments under a single optimized strategy. AroFEMP Monte Carlo Modeling evaluates cost, effectiveness, and optimal deployment of any methane measurement technology based on your specific assets and corporate goals.

Execute a cheaper, more efficient methane monitoring program that focuses on the largest emissions.

settings-01.png  How It works. AroFEMP is a monte-carlo simulation model that is run in-house. Projects are short, consulting efforts that take approximately 6-8 weeks. The time commitment required from the producer is minimal.

uil_chart-line.png  Cost Savings. Our clients have saved up to $200K / year in LDAR costs through the deployment of an advanced measurement approach. This has led to reduced repairs / lower OPEX by focusing efforts on sites with the largest emissions / highest leak probability.

In areas where regulatory approval for the use of alternative technologies is required, AroFEMP has been a vital tool for demonstrating equivalency and securing approval for operator use. AroFEMP has designed the majority of alternative Fugitive Emissions Management Programs (alt-FEMPs) approved in Canada to-date. Arolytics also designed and modelled Canada’s first-ever collaborative LDAR project (MEMP SPOG project) involving 13 producers.

AroFEMP has supported the design and implementation of some of the most innovative oil and gas methane monitoring programs in North America. This model is in use by some of Canada’s most innovative oil and gas producers, as well technology developers in the U.S. and Canada.

Evaluate Technology Options

We have a technology library of 100+ methane detection technologies, all of which can be simulated virtually in AroFEMP. Whether it’s OGI, fixed sensors, trucks, drones, planes, or satellites, let AroFEMP find which options are most effective at meeting your corporate objectives.

Lower Costs

Our clients have estimated that emission reduction strategies designed by AroFEMP have unlocked monitoring cost savings up to and over 40%. This amounts to significant operational cost reductions year after year.

Mitigate Technology Adoption Risk

Find the right technologies for your needs without committing significant capital and time to field pilots. AroFEMP evaluates the effectiveness of methane detection and mitigation technologies in a virtual environment.

Less Operations Disruption

AroFEMP not only evaluates technologies, but also the work practices (ie. follow-up requirements, actionable thresholds), minimizing field interruptions and repairs required.

Unlock Regulatory Approvals for Alternative LDAR

Many regulatory bodies require proof that an alternative approach to Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) will result in similar emission reductions as conventional approaches. AroFEMP has unlocked regulatory approval for numerous projects and energy companies.

Streamline Measurement Programs

Are you committed to OGMP, MiQ, or other voluntary methane program, in addition to your compliance obligations? Streamline these under a single strategy.

Comparable Models

Other methane simulation models exist, such as open-source models FEAST and LDAR-Sim. If you need to use one of these emission models instead of AroFEMP, the Arolytics team of emission reduction experts can help!
