arofemp methane modelling
OGI, Method 21, fixed sensors, truck, UAVs, aerial, and satellite sensors… What is the best LDAR method for minimizing cost while ensuring compliance?
AROfemp methane modelling supports in the development and regulatory approval of innovative, alternative emissions management programs.
Evaluation of innovative alternative LDAR technologies and program types for performance and cost
Development of work practices that comply with regulations
Comparison of various LDAR programs to the default OGI or Method 21 approaches
Third-party modelling analysis to support regulatory approvals of specific technologies or LDAR programs
Estimation of baseline emissions and emission reduction impact of various LDAR programs or technologies
Improved planning for vent mitigation projects
Estimated number of leaks and repairs required over time
We have achieved a 100% regulatory approval rate to-date for regulatory applications that use AROfemp
Our clients have estimated that the alternative LDAR approaches we designed have achieved savings of up-to, and over 40%
AROfemp is the only commercial methane model of its kind, developed specifically for industry. It is applicable for Canadian and US regulations, as well as OGMP 2.0.
Our clients have estimated that the alternative LDAR approaches we designed have achieved savings of up-to, and over 40%. This amounts to significant cost savings year after year.
A proven solution:
Partnering with oil and gas companies, AROfemp has designed the majority of alternative fugitive emissions management programs (alt-FEMPs) approved by the Alberta Energy Regulator to-date. Arolytics also designed and modelled Canada’s first-ever collaborative alt-FEMP (MEMP SPOG project).
AROfemp was developed in consultation with relevant energy regulators. We have achieved 100% regulatory approval rate to-date for regulatory applications that use AROfemp.
Arolytics is committed to continuous model improvement and we are always working to validate assumptions.
The AROfemp model is offered as a standalone service or integrated as a feature within AROviz Emissions Software.
Our approach is technology agnostic and considers your unique asset base, emissions profile, and technology options.
Our team has experience working with data from all methane detection methods, from satellite to OGI. Taking a neutral stance means that we design custom emissions monitoring programs that can optimally integrate various technologies in a cost effective and regulation-compliant manner, finding the best solution for your unique situation.
